 Picture is misleading Nov 25, 2008
the ivory dress is shown with a black sash; when we received my daughter's dress, it had an ivory sash - so all white - looked like a wedding dress instead of a prom dress. I had to purchase a colored sash for the dress.

This dress is very beautiful. I bought it for my daughters Military Ball and it will be perfect. I would recommend this dress to anyone. The only thing that could be better is a correct sizing. The dress comes smaller than the size indicated, so order the next size up. Otherwise, very worth it.

Dress arrived to England very quickly and is everything I expected. This is not a very high quality dress but certainly looks the part unless you look very closely. The bodice type lace up back really means it fits perfectly. I feel like a princess ;-)

I bought this dress for my wedding which was will be an informal destination wedding in Barbados. The seller, ships quickly and very efficiently. I received my dress in about two days. However, the dress itself is of a very poor quality. I agree with another reviewer, it looks like a holloween costume. The design is ok and it fits well but the taffeta was the cheapest looking taffeta I had ever seen. When I got the dress I thought that it was packaged on the wrong side so that I assumed that the cheap nylon looking fabric was the lining. Imagine my shock when I unpacked it. I don't know if it is better when it is in one of the other colours but it is horrid in white. It came with a black satin sash (dispite ordering a white one) that was also of poor quality. For those of you still thinking of getting this dress.. I am a true (comfortable) size 18 and the 2x was an easy fit. It may be a little big but the lace up back helped. Forget the sash it is horrid. My opinion? You can feel comfortable purchasing from this supplier as it is super efficient but buy another dress as this one is not worth the money. I now have to buy another dress and I can't return it as I am an international cutomer. The cost of shipping it back is more than the dress.
